Welcome to The Forest, a 1970s nightclub where dreams are made, where mischief and magic collide, where lovers meet in secret and a King and Queen fight over a changeling boy. This is the place where men become donkeys (or a wall… or a lion for that matter) before heading down to the YMCA. At The Forest, the tunes are fresh and the drinks are cool. So pop on some flares, shimmy into your sequins, pull on your platform shoes and get ready for some midsummer madness.

Featuring disco classics such as The Hustle, Don’t Go Breaking My Heart, I Will Survive, How Deep is Your Love, YMCA and more.

This one hour edit of this Shakespeare classic was developed by the Royal Shakespeare Company as part of their Commemorative Playmaking Pack marking 400 years of Shakespeare. Choosing this abridged version of the original play afforded us the opportunity to add our own spin on this Shakespeare classic, adding music, song, dance and even a little audience interaction…
